When we build up our self confidence, life can take us on the most amazing journey with new and exciting opportunities.


Confidence is an attitude of the mind. "If you believe you can or believe you can't, you are probably right" Henry Ford.

Self confidence is something that we can grow and develop.

It is a life skill that we can become more proficient in. We are all born with self confidence, but whether it shines though or hides away depends on how we have been treated throughout our lives.

Working with a Coach can help you to build your self confidence so that life no longer feels scary and you can build up the confidence to try new things. As it grows and develops, you will want to test it even further.

When you know that you have all the resources that you need to deal with whatever life throws at you and to go after your own goals, you will feel happier and much more in control of your life.

This doesn't mean of course that you will never have to deal with difficult situations in life, everyone does. What it does mean is that you will be better equipped to deal with these situations and you will know that you have the power to control your reactions to them.

Life Coaching enables you to get all your thoughts and feelings out of the table, no hold barred. Many clients tell me it is the first time they have actually voiced some of their thoughts out loud - it can be an extremely liberating experience.

I coach clients face to face in West Lothian, Edinburgh and Glasgow and by telephone from the rest of the UK, which ever method suits you and is most practical.

Coaching is generally non-directive, but I have found that in helping people to build their confidence I do suggest a number of tools that work, for example, visualization; positive affirmations; emulating a confident role model.
