Life Coaching is about looking at all aspects of your life as they currently stand and working out which areas are fulfilling you and which aren't.
All too often, we get caught up on the treadmill of daily life. Life Coaching is the perfect way to get back in control.
Often, we forget to look up and check on what we want from life; we forget that we can make changes. Once you identify which aspects you want to change, we set about creating goals for the future.
My role as your Life Coach is to help you see that you have choices and control over your life, then help you work out a plan on how to move from where you are now to where you want to be.
I will start by asking you lots of thought-provoking questions to help to gain clarity on the situation.
At the end of each life coaching session, you will have a list of actions that you will work on between sessions to help you move towards your goals.
You will check in with your Life Coach regularly to ensure that you maintain focus and to give you the opportunity to discuss your thoughts, feelings, successes and challenges.
In each session, we will review what has worked well and what needs to be improved before working out the next steps of the plan. It's a very powerful process.
Working with a Life Coach gives you the opportunity to speak completely openly, without fear of judgement.
I will challenge you and help motivate you when your momentum is flagging and will share in your good news when you achieve success.
Life Coaching is always led by the wishes of the client, so you will never hear me telling you what I think you should do, after all you are the expert in your own life.
Life Coaching isn't something you can do half-heartedly, you need to be committed to make changes.
Repeating the same old patterns simply gives you the same old results.
As your Life Coach, I am completely neutral so I have no vested interest in whatever decisions you make, other than helping you to move forward.
I coach clients face to face in West Lothian and Edinburgh and by telephone from the rest of the UK, whichever method suits you and is most practical. Sessions generally last for 1 hour.
