With some clients, we’ve been trialling quick 30 min sessions, instead of the 1 hour sessions.
This works really well where overeating isn’t particularly linked to other more in-depth issues and more often than not is about poor habits or taking shortcuts.
When overeating is linked to more in-depth issues, I work with clients to resolve that issue first. In most cases, then its much easier to lose weight when the underlying issue is resolved as the need for comfort, sugar, salt, self medication has been removed
These have been working so well, that I’ve decided to roll them out as a new option for all clients.
A weekly or fortnightly 30 min check in session can help you stay on track and focus on just a small chunk of time at once. Knowing that you are coming back to talk with your Coach about your weight loss / fitness goals on a regular basis can help keep you motivated.
We’ll talk through what has gone well, any areas you are struggling with and work through strategies to help you stay on track.
Its a private, positive conversation – no public humiliation of getting on the scales or being in a crowded church hall owning up to secret snacking or massive blowouts.
I’m hosting these on Friday’s and as they are only 30 mins – they are also only half the price of regular sessions – £30 rather than £60.
